Overview

Dr. Shannon Dawkins is the founder and sole proprietor of Claws & Paws Mobile Veterinary Services. Located in the Chattanooga suburb of Red Bank, Tennessee, the business includes four employees and serves thousands of pet owners by providing mobile pet care and onsite surgery.

As a mobile veterinary service covering a large and spread out geographic region, Dr. Dawkins spends much of her day driving her car or mobile surgery truck. The constant sitting aggravates her lower back, causing pain.

“When my employees are doing inventory, they can just roll the desk over by the cabinets. It’s super convenient,” Dawkins explained. “And since the desk is height adjustable, whomever is using it can put it at a comfortable height. It’s really worked out well. The only downside is now my assistants want a second one!”
